The bell bowl having a solid base with single tear
above a stem with upper annulated knop over an inverted baluster
with a further tear, and a basal knop,
the foot, domed and folded; snapped pontil; collector's marks and numbers verso

 

Provenance : Sotheby's June 1970, The Harding Collection

 

Of Interest : The inverted baluster is considered the most comfortable to hold in the hand.

 

Condition : Excellent without chips, cracks or restoration;
light and minor wear appropriate to age and usage.
