in the 17th Century Spanish Style
Probably Iberian, c1720

Of very heavy weight, at almost 3 pounds,
having flaring nozzle over a baluster stem with high wide annular knop
and a small lower annular knop,
above a heavy curved saucer base with low continuous footrim;
the stem threaded mount into the base
Note : A brass baluster candlestick of almost identical form, with saucer base,
was listed by Dreweatts, Donnington Priory, 2019
Condition : Excellent; the threaded mount to base stabilized with epoxy;
with numerous very small nicks and scratches appropriate to age and usage,
visible in images
