The moulded teapot and stand with black-ground lotus petals on a famille rose ground,
both petals and ground painted with scrolling floral sprays in pinks, turquoise, green,
yellow and blue, below an iron-red whorled border and double line,
the teapot spout moulded and painted as overlapping lotus petals,
the base centering a moulded concave open lotus blossom,
that centers over a moulded convex blossom on the moulded teapot stand;
the conforming cover of lotus petal form and painted en suite, pointed knop finial;
the turquoise loop handle moulded a lotus stem

Condition : Good to excellent, minor rim frits appropriate to the age; the stand original to teapot;

some rubbing to the iron red double rim enameled lines, as shown in the image above (not chipped);

several small nicks to the stand footrim and a firing flaw to the rim, seen in images
