19th Century, EE within a lozenge

 

 

 

 

 

 

Heavy weight and well made, each of round shallow form and embossed with grapevine and flutes within a turned lip,

 intertwined serpent handles, each with maker’s mark EE within a lozenge on the handle,

the left example with a Minerva mark for .800 silver standard

 

Condition : excellent without dents, splits or repairs; probably 20th century
