The baluster jug with plain loop handle,
the body painted with a Chinese lady holding a fish, and a gentleman carrying two baskets,
in a fenced garden and below a blooming prunus,
the neckrim with trellis diapering and a engraved silver mount,
connecting with a silver hinge and fleur de lis thumb-rest to the silver-mounted
domed cover painted with further blooming prunus; knop finial;
the fleur de lis with remains of three initials
Marks : Jacob Helweg, 1814 .934 lion rampant & 1, and "antiques" sword
Excellent condition to both ceramic and mounts

Of moulded baluster form with oval panels of blooming peonies in a stand,
with scattered flowerheads to with scattered flowerheads to the shoulders, neck and foot,
the footrim with horizontal scroll diapering;
the neckrim with engraved dentil-shaped silver banding and a large mushroom-shaped silver
stopper with free-standing flower and leaf finial
The ceramic in excellent condition with;
the silver cover likely with a wax to retard tarnishing, due to complexity.
There is stubborn tarnish beneath the protective covering.
Marks : Hendrik Frederik Koen, Amsterdam (1821-1852),
1814 .934-.833 "Antiques" Sword, and maker's mark
