Straight Set of George II Silver Hanoverian Tablespoons, Isaac Callard, London, 1757 

 

Of heavy gauge silver, a hard to find straight set in the Hanoverian pattern,
of usual form with oval bowls having a single drop heel,
the tapering shaft ending in an upturned terminal,
each engraved en suite with the crest of a wolf (or fox) sejant ppr.

 

 

Condition : Excellent with very minor wear and good patination
bottom struck; most marks cast over at the edges, and / or rubbed;
