SET of 6 GEORGE I / II IRISH HANOVERIAN 3-TINE SILVER FORKS

Dublin, Probably William Walsh, 1741-2 (5)

London, c1725-28, date and marker’s marks rubbed (1)

 

 

 

All of heavy gauge silver in the Hanoverian pattern with three tines and upturned terminals, each terminal engraved en suite with a horse passant, saddled and bridled, the hindquarters blanketed (the crest later and as yet unidentified); set of 5 – harp crowned; Hibernia, date mark, W? in shaped punch; London fork with maker’s mark ?? beneath a star

 

Condition : Excellent; good tines; without repairs or bends; marks rubbed

 

7.5” Long / 12 oz.
