Good Pair of George III Crested Silver Beakers, Thomas Wallis II London 1813 

 

Of quite heavy gauge silver, each round tapering bowl with reeded rim and
crested with a lion sejant, holding in dexter paw a spear upright,

 

 
the verso with a centering dot, the interior with hand-planishing marks

Condition: Excellent; exterior marks to the upper sides, crisp on one example,
slightly rubbed to the right on the other

but during the 19th century, there are so many small mugs and goblets

that it seems few beakers were made".
