GOOD LIVERPOOL MOLDED SAUCEBOAT
Possibly James Pennington, c1765


The simple saltglaze form beautifully molded with scrolling foliage
and flora between upper and lower acanthus borders, each side
centering a cartouche painted in vivid blue with a chrysanthemum and
tree and hollow rock, siding a fence before upright leaves, the
upper rim and footrim with simple horizontal molding, the grooved
scrolled handle with a comma terminal
