Each of oval form with cylindrical reeded cap top, with contemporary script monogram "E", the verso of each engraved WARNE;
crisp marks verso, the lids marked with a crisp lino passant and the date mark, rubbed but legible maker's mark
Condition : Very good, each with a small discrete rejoin to the top and body; left example with a side blemish and a slight bend to the lid (visible in images)
Note : Pairs of early tea caddies (correctly termed canisters) are quite scare
Provenance : a Canadian collector
