The reversible nutcrackers with hinged oar-shaped handles and horizontal ribbing,

terminating in baluster and ball knops,

the crackers on each side with steel nipples

 

Mark : Grimwade #3037, registered 1815; date letter P; George III; lion passant

 

Condition : Very good with slight looseness to the hinge; marks rubbed but legible;

each arm marked; central hinge partially marked

 

5.5” Long / 4.8 oz.
