GEORGE III LARGE SILVER CEREMONIAL GOBLET

Robert & Samuel Hennell, London, 1810

 

 

Of quite heavy gauge silver and campana form,
with everted and folded rim and gilt interior,
the body with two bands of applied stylized flowerhead scrolls
above a collared base with an egg and dart gadrooned flange,
the pedestal stem with a further feather-moulded band,
above a flaring foot, the footrim top with egg and dart decoration

 

Condition : Excellent; with very minor wear to the decoration and surface scratches;
crisp marks verso of foot

 

 

7.75" High, 6-1/8"Bowl Width at Rim, The Foot 4-1/8" Wide
