GEORGE III COOPERED & HANDLED  MAHOGANY TRAY

England, c1780

 

 

 

 

The oval brass-coopered staved tray with a single board base, the ends having carved paperscroll handles, the two narrow brass coopering bands apparently original 

 

Condition : Overall excellent; deep rich color; brass bands with additional screws (expected for age), but not moved; without separation to the staves; one vertical repair to a panel; a small gap in the coopering beneath one handle.

 

3" High x 24.25" Long x 13" Deep
