GEORGE III CARVED BOW FRONTED WINDOW SEAT

In the Hepplewhite Manner, England, c1780

   

 

The upright outscrolling arms above a rectangular bowed front seat rail, the back rail straight, raised on square tapering fluted legs headed by carved paterae and ending in block feet; the whole newly upholstered in cinnamon colored hand blocked Scalamandre silk toile with pleated handholds 

 

Condition : Excellent; newly upholstered in Scalamdre silk toile;

nicks and scratches to mahogany frame as appropriate to age and usage

 

36.75” Long x 26” High Overall

The Seat : 18” High x 23”x Long x 14” Deep
