Transfer printed, each with good definition,
in the Pleasure Boat pattern (Caughley version of the Worcester 'Fisherman'),
depicting a tall fisherman holding a short fish on a 'pleasure boat', opposing a cormorant
and
within a cell diapered and spearhead border;
the cup with another fisherman seated in a rocky pagoda riverscape, the line taught,
the interior with diapered border,
the saucer with underglaze blue S verso, for SALOPIAN, the old name for Shropshire
