PAIR GEORGE III SILVER MASTER OPEN SALTS

Of quite heavy gauge silver, the oval bowls with gadrooned rims,
each resting on 4 shell-headed cabriole legs ending in hoofed feet;
each body engraved with contemporary conjoined scrip initials "JAPL" within flourishes.
 
Condition : Good to excellent with several minor dents and abrasions appropriate to age and usage;
marks rubbed from polishing
 
Note : Solid silver salts did not come with liners.
 
1.75" High x 3.5" Long / 6.3 oz
