England, c1760-65

 

 

The body with strap fluting around reserves painted with a fisherman beside an island, and a floral sprig beneath the

spout and on the handle, raised on a fluted pedestal base with sprigging, the interior with a central floral spray, and

scroll and diapered lip decoration

 

Condition: Excellent with no chips or restoration; glaze skips burned red; one or two painting skips glazed over
