Of very heavy gauge silver and beautifully executed,
the 2-part funnel with gadrooned waist and reeded upper rim to the bowl,
having an escallop shaped tang to side of the detachable pierced strainer,
the curved spout in excellent condition with full length,
a complete set of marks to both funnel exterior and strainer base at rim
Emes & Barnard were suppliers of plates to the Royal Goldsmiths,
Rundell, Bridge and Rundell (the same firm that retailed Paul Storr's silver),
and to Cattle and Barber in York with race cups
Condition : Excellent with full tip in tact; straining holes precisely positioned and finished;
one .5 inch reinforcement to interior of fold; minor small scratches appropriate to age and usage
5.5" High / 5.8 oz.
