FINE PAIR GEORGE IV / WILLIAM IV KING'S SILVER SERVING TONGS

Of very heavy gauge silver and large size, in the King’s “Honeysuckle Pattern", the “sprung form” tongs with chased and threaded arms below a bowed hilt crested with an estoile below a Baron's coronet, and ending in anthemion-pierced and threaded blades held by a threaded slide

 

Condition :  Excellent; crisp marks; good spring to hilt

 

10-7/8" Long / 10.1oz
