18TH CENTURY CONTINENTAL ENGRAVED LIGHT BALUSTER WINE GLASS

Probably Low Countries, Mid-18th Century

 

The funnel bowl engraved with a spray of flowers above a solid base enclosing a tear and a double-knopped stem with a single long tear and folded foot, the engraving with the remains of gilt; the glass of soda metal with a slight greenish tinge; snapped pontil

 

Condition : Excellent, without chips or any polishing

 

6-1/8' High, the foot 2-5/8" Wide
